Barney's Premier Late Night Venue

Set in the buildings of the former castle armoury, The Wine Bar is the only late night venue in Barnard Castle, Teesdale.

It's the only bar in the centre of town with a permanent dance floor with the latest sound and lighting equipment, not forgetting to mention we're the only venue licenced until 4a.m.

Every Friday and Saturday we play a variety of music from the 60's up to the present day, so there is always going to be a tune to help you get your groove on.

Or if you think you can sing why not head down to our karaoke every Thursday night. A variety of prizes are awarded for the best (and worst) performers.

Sorry its been a while since we’ve done a website up date, we’ve been having so much fun every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at The Wine Bar that we almost forgot about the site. But not to worry, we will have some new images up of everybody enjoying themselves over the festive season.
